My dearest Saviour and my guide
I Would be Walking at thy Side
O never let me run astray
Nor follow the forbidden way

Within thy circling power I stand
On every Side I find thy hand
Awake asleep at home abroad
I am surrounded still with god

O may these thoughts posses my-breast
Where er I rove Where er I rest
Nor let my Weaker passions dare Consent to sin for god is there

Jesus can make a dying bed
Feel soft as downy pillows are
While on his breast I lean my head,

Arise my soul from deep distress
And banish every fear
